Bhedaghat
Bhedaghat is 33 Km from Jabalpur city. Shared autos ply at Rs. 30 per person. A reserved auto to Jabalpur charges around Rs. 150.
Accommodation
The best accommodation at Bhedaghat is the one owned by MPT. Booking can be done from their regional offices or online.
There are another 3-4 hotels in Bhedaghat that provide decent accommodation. So even if you go without a booking, you will always find a nice place to stay.
Marble Rocks
Timing
Day boating: Boating on the Narmada can be done between 8:00 AM – sunset.
Night boating: Night boating is operational from four days before a full moon night till four days after full moon night. If possible, always plan a trip to Marble Rocks on a full moon night. Its wonderful!!
Charges
Boat ride can be done either in shared mode or by booking a complete boat. The shared boat ride is of 30 minute duration and costs Rs 35 per person.
Boat hiring charges are Rs 320 for every 30 minutes, including guide charge. However, be ready to give additional tips on request. It is recommended to go for 1 hour boat ride to see the entire stretch of the Marble Rocks.
Dhuadhar Falls
Around 1 Km from Marble Rocks, auto charges in between Rs 3 – Rs 5 from Marble Rocks to Dhuadhar Falls. It is a long walk from the auto stand to the base of the falls.
Cable Car
Timing: From 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Charges: Rs 55 per person for both way journey.
Chausat Yogini Temple
This is just a few meters from the Marble Rock entrance. There is no entry fee.
Shopping
Do not forget to buy decorative items made from soft soapstone and different types of stones.
