Hi Rajib,
The MP Tourism Dormitory and Baghira Log Huts are just adjacent to each other – just 100m apart. The property is good and just adjacent to the Kisli gate.
The road from Gondia to Kisli (around 135 Km) was in good condition when I went. However, the driver took a shortcut which was over un-paved roads for some part of the journey. But it was ok.
For transport from Kisli, it might be worthwhile to keep the private transport with you (since you are staying for 2 nights). But before deciding, talk with MP Tourism Kisli guest house and ask if they can arrange for some transport and what would be the cost. Based on that you can decide.
Regarding cell phones, yes, BSNL signal will be available outside the core forest area.

Hi,Thanks for your details and the website.Its really helpful. And your photgraphs are also superb.
I myself is planning to go to Kanha in April and would be going from Gondia. I would be staying in the Kisli Tourist Hotel Dormitory of MP Tourism. Any guess hows the property. Also from Gondia to Kilsi – I feel its about 160-170 km. Hows the road condition.I would be going by a private vehicle from Gondia.
Now can u plz suggest – do I need to keep the vehicle with me. I will be staying for 2 nights and return to Gondia.Also do I get any BSNL or other Mobile signals at Kisli staying places.

Thanks a lot for the information. It is a grate help. Few more question ( please help): How many nights you stayed in Bandhavghar? How much the car should charge for each night stay? How you have arrangeed the car? Can Kisli MPT hotel arrange car from Jabalpur?

Journey time between Kanha and Bandhavgarh would be around 5 hours, if you are traveling in a hired car. If you hire a car, it will charge you for both ways, although you would be traveling only one way. Rates are approx Rs 5.50 – 6.00 per Km. Total distance is around 180 Km. I had arranged for a car to come from Jabalpur to Kanha, take me to Bandhavgarh and then to Bhedaghat. It charged me Jabalpur – Jabalpur.

thanks a lot for useful informations. i am also planing to go to Kahna & Bandhavgarh. How long it takes from kanha to Bandhavgarh by car? how much thay charge?
