Thanks for finding the given information useful. Here is the answer to your questions.
Morning and eveing safaris cost the same. However, the safari charges might be increased very soon.
In Kanha, both Kisli and Mukki are good entry points. In Bandhavgarh, go for Tala (Zone 1). As this zone is in high demand, it is better to book the safaris in advance through the Forest Department Portal mentioned in my post.

Thanks for the great information. You have explained very well. I am going Kanha & Bandhavgarh. Please let me know is there any rate diference in Morning & evening safari at Kanha. And which is the best location from Kisli & Mukki. Also suggest Bandhavgarh which zone is best.

Yes, Baghira Log Huts is expensive… However, it includes all four meals for 2 persons – if its of any consolation. However, they charge a premium for it being inside the forest. Alternately, you can try Mukki, which is less costly than Baghira Log Huts.
And if you have the patience to find out the booking procedure, Forest Department has some accommodation options which are very very cheap.

Hi Rajib,
The MP Tourism Dormitory and Baghira Log Huts are just adjacent to each other – just 100m apart. The property is good and just adjacent to the Kisli gate.
The road from Gondia to Kisli (around 135 Km) was in good condition when I went. However, the driver took a shortcut which was over un-paved roads for some part of the journey. But it was ok.
For transport from Kisli, it might be worthwhile to keep the private transport with you (since you are staying for 2 nights). But before deciding, talk with MP Tourism Kisli guest house and ask if they can arrange for some transport and what would be the cost. Based on that you can decide.
Regarding cell phones, yes, BSNL signal will be available outside the core forest area.

Hi,Thanks for your details and the website.Its really helpful. And your photgraphs are also superb.
I myself is planning to go to Kanha in April and would be going from Gondia. I would be staying in the Kisli Tourist Hotel Dormitory of MP Tourism. Any guess hows the property. Also from Gondia to Kilsi – I feel its about 160-170 km. Hows the road condition.I would be going by a private vehicle from Gondia.
Now can u plz suggest – do I need to keep the vehicle with me. I will be staying for 2 nights and return to Gondia.Also do I get any BSNL or other Mobile signals at Kisli staying places.
